Software computer ka ek important part hota hai. Ye actually ek set of programs hote hain jo user ko apne tasks complete karne me help karte hain. In programs ke through hi hardware ko instruction milta hai ki kya kaam karna hai aur kaise.

Software mainly 2 types ke hote hain:

System Software Kya Hota Hai?

System software wo software hote hain jo directly hardware pe run karte hain. Ye computer ke andar ke parts jaise memory, storage, aur processor ko manage karte hain.

Examples of System Software:

  • Operating System (Windows, Linux, macOS)

  • Device Drivers

  • BIOS

  • Utility Software

Features of System Software:

  • Ye user aur hardware ke beech bridge ka kaam karta hai.

  • System software ke bina computer boot bhi nahi hota.

  • Ye hardware ko functional banata hai.

System Software ke Do Prakar:

  1. GUI (Graphical User Interface) – jaise Windows

  2. CLI (Command Line Interface) – jaise MS-DOS, Linux CLI


Application Software Kya Hota Hai?

Application software wo software hote hain jo kisi specific task ke liye use kiye jaate hain – jaise typing, editing, browsing, etc.

Examples of Application Software:

  • MS Word, Excel

  • Photoshop

  • VLC Media Player

  • Chrome, Firefox

Features of Application Software:

  • Ye system software ke upar run karta hai.

  • User aur system software ke beech interface ka kaam karta hai.

  • Ye user ki needs ke according banaya gaya hota hai.
